Activity Summary
Teams will make a paper helicopter and test its flight time, learning essential mathematics and engineering skills.

- scissors
- paper clips
- masking tape
- stopwatch
- helicopter pattern, (one per team, printed on construction paper and copy paper)
- helicopter directions (one per team)
Before the activity, set up an area for testing the helicopters. Measure a height of 2 meters on a wall and mark it with masking tape.
